Bad physical condition

I still have bad physical condition. I have a slight fever. I went to school today. I had the class of table tennis, but I couldn't do well and I left school early.

I also have a headache now. I want to sleep... I want to go to bed. I had a part-time job today, but I was absent because of my bad physical condition.

I want to sleep... but, I slept 12 hours yesterday. Did I sleep too long? But I want to sleep. I hope my physical condition gets better soon...!!

Moons: Titan

Today, I talk about Titan.

I think many people know the word "Titan", but they don't know the moon "Titan." Titan is the moon of Saturn. It was detected after moon (Earth's moon) and Galilean moons. It is larger than Mercury. It is smaller than Ganymede, but it is the second largest moon in the solar system.


A special feature of Titan is that there are strong atmosphere. Io, the moon of Jupiter and Toriton, the moon of Neptune also have atmosphere, but they are smaller than that of Titan. It is thought that there are some meteorological phenomena like Earth in Titan.


It is thought that there are rainfall of methane and there are rivers and lakes which are composed of methane or ethane.

Flu

I have flu now. I had a fever, 41.1 degrees. I resolved to die!!! I heard people die when they have 42 degrees.

Now, I don't have fever. But my physical condition is bad. I want to sleep. But I should study for exams...

I decided to be absent from my part-time job in Tuesday.

Moons: Galilean Moons

I have written about Galilean moons already, but I write again!! Do you know Galilean moons? They are moons of Jupiter. They were detected by Galileo Galilei.This detection supported the heliocentric(Copernican) theory.



The left one is Io.  Europa is next to Io. Second right one is Ganymede and the right one is Callisto.

I think Io looks like Nori-Shio!! Don't you think so? There are active volcanos. We can see it with using binoculars.

Europa is covered with ices. And under the ices, there are sea! So it is thought that there are may possibly life forms in Europa.

I like Ganymede. I think it is beautiful. Ganymede is the largest moon in the solar system and it is larger than Mercury!!!

Callisto moves the outest from Jupiter in Galilean moons. It is the third largest moon in the solar system. Ganymede and Titan(it is Saturn's moon) are larger than Callisto.

Moons:the five main moons of Uranus

I introduce the five main moons of Uranus!! I think many people don't know these moons. The five main moons of Uranus are mainly composed of ices, but it is indicated that there are methane and ammonia except for ices. They have larger density than Saturn’s middle-size satellites. Their densities are comparatively large, 1.4~1.7g/㎤ (except for Miranda). It is considered that there were much CO gas in the environment where satellites of Uranus were formed. The Albedos of them are about 0.3.




This is Miranda. Miranda is the closest to Uranus in the five main satellites. It is said “The strangest object in Uranus system.” The surface of it is classified into two types. There are flat plain area and rugged perpendicular cliff area. It is considered that it had gathered after it fell in pieces.





This is Ariel. Ariel has the highest albedo in the five main satellites (0.39). Most surface of it are covered with 5~10 km crators. The largest crator in Ariel is 78km, it is small considering Ariel’s diameter. Its surface looks like the surface of Titania. Ariel and Titania are once in reasonance relation.





This is Umbriel. Umbriel has the lowest albedo in the five main satellites (0.16). Its surface has not been changed hardly. The difference between lighter area and darker area of Umbriel is the smallest in the five main satellites. There are no evidence of geological feature activity in the surface. It looks like Oberon.




This is Titania. Titania is the largest satellites in the five main satellites, and the seventh Largest satellites in the solar system. The density is also largest in the Satellites of Uranus. There are two areas, the old area which is covered with crators and the new area which acrosses the old area.





This is Oberon. Oberon is the most distant object from Uranus in the five main satellites.
There are few information about in northern hemisphere. It is considered that the surface of it has not been changed from it had been formed. There are some big crators in lighter area.

Moons: Mars's moon

I write an article about moons of Mars!! I have written about them already in the article "Planets:Mars", but I write in greater detail about moons of Mars in this time!



Mars has two moons. First one is Phobos!!



This is the color image of Phobos. Phobos means "confusion." It moves considerably near Mars. We can see it on the surface of Mars twice in a day. It moves very fast!! But it will crash to Mars or collapse and become the ring of Mars because Phobos is too near with Mars. Phobos had been an asteroid and then became Mars's moon by Mars's gravity.






This is the color image of Deimos. Deimos means "terror." Deimos moves outer from Mars than Phobos. We have less information about Deimos. But we know Deimos also had been an asteroid and then became Mars's moon like Phobos. But Deimos will not crash or collapse.

Dwarf Planets:Makemake

This is the last dwarf planet. It is Makemake! I think many people laugh this strange name. It is derived from the god of Easter Island.



This picture is an imaginary drawing of Makemake. Although all other Pluto type dwarf planets have moons (Pluto has five known moons, Eris has a known moon and Haumea has two known moons), Makemake has no known moon. There are no atmosphere.

It is the forth dwarf planet and the third Plutonian object. It is thought that Makemake is smaller than Pluto and Eris. Makemake is in Classical Kuiper belt object because it isn't affected by Neptune like Haumea.

Makemake was called Easter bunny or Zenn at first because it was detected soon after Easter.

Dwarf Planets: Haumea

I write an article about Haumea! I think it is a minor object comparing with Pluto, Eris and Ceres. It is a dwarf planet.



This picture is an imaginary drawing. As you see, Haumea has two moons. They are Hi'iaka and Namaka. Haumea was called "Santa" at first because it was detected around Christmas. But then, it was named Haumea. The name of Haumea is derived from the goddes in Hawaii. And Hi'iaka and Namaka are daughter of Haumea. At first, Hi'iaka was called Rudolph and Namaka was called Blitzen. Rudolph and Blitzen are reindeer which pull Santa Claus's sled.

It is thought that Haumea has a slender shape. Haumea moves in orbit outside Neptune, but it sometimes approach to Neptune's orbit. Haumea's rotation period is 4 hour and it is quick so Haumea has a slender shape. Haumea autorotates quick because it experienced large-scaled collision.

Haumea is in Classical Kuiper belt object because it isn't affected by Neptune. There are some ices of water in the surface of Haumea.

Dwarf Planets:Ceres

Today, I write an article about Ceres.

I also think that many people don't know "Ceres." Ceres is one of the dwarf planet, and it is the first object which was detected as an asteroid so it has minor planet number 1. It is the largest object in the asteroid belt.

The name of Ceres is derived from the goddess of Roman mythology. Ceres was detected in 1801. It was treated as a planet at first, but there were many similar objects in the asteroid belt and Ceres is too small to become a planet, so it couldn't be a planet. But Ceres has nonstandardized size in the asteroid belt, so Ceres has been the largest asteroid in the solar system for 150 years. But in 2000s, some objects which are in the outside from Neptune were detected, so now, Ceres is not the largest asteroid. But Ceres became to a dwarf planet.The mass of Ceres occupies one third or one four of total masses of objects in the asteroid belt.

There are few information about Ceres. We can't get much information. So I can't write long article about Ceres!

Dwarf Planets:Eris

Now, I talk about Eris. I think many people don't know Eris. Eris is a dwarf planet so Eris is the same kind with Pluto.




This is the picture of Eris and its moon. Comparing with planets, we can't get vivid images of dwarf planets.




This is an artist's impression of Eris and its moon. Eris has a moon, Dysnomia. Eris was detected in 2003, and Dysnomia was detected in 2005. The name of Eris is derived from a goddess of discord and confrict. The name of Dysnomia is derived from a goddess of injustice, who is the daughter of Eris.

Eris is the most massive dwarf planets in the solar system. Eris is larger than Pluto. But it is thought that Eris's composition is similar to Pluto's composition. Eris and Pluto have ices of methane.

Eris is the cause of Pluto's downgrading. At first, Eris was treated as a planet. But if Eris becomes a planet, other objects(ex. Ceres, Charon) should be planets, too. Then, the definition of planets was reconsidered.

Planets:Neptune

I finish writing articles about my new year's holiday, so I write articles about planets again! Today is about the last planet, Neptune!!




Neptune is the farthest planet from the sun in the solar system. Before Pluto changed to a dwarf planet, it was the second farthest or the farthest planet from the sun. Because of orbits of Neptune and Pluto, Neptune sometimes becomes the farthest planet, but Pluto was usually the farthest planet. But now, in reality and in name, Neptune is the farthest planet.


The name, Neptune is derived from Neputunus, who is the god of the sea. But there is no sea in Neptune. Neptune is composed of gass and ices. Neptune is the ice giant planet and its composition is similar to Uranus's one.

Many people don't know that Neptune has its ring. But it is very thin so we can't see it in the picture. And Neptune has 14 moons. The newest moon was detected in 2013. Names of moons are derived from spirits of sea and water.

Neptune is smaller than Uranus, but heavier than Uranus, so its density is larger than Uranus.



This is the last article about planets in the solar system. Next, I'll write about dwarf planets in the solar system! I think many peopke know planets, but don't know dwarf planets. I have written the article about Pluto already, so I'll write an article about Eris in the next time!

Kani-Nabe

 

 I ate Kani-Nabe in thrid of January!  I can't eat Kani-Nabe in Hiroshima because Kani is so expensive. So I was glad to eat Kani-Nabe!!!

 

 

 

I'm sorry, I forgot to take pictures. I think it doesn't look delicious in this picture, but it was delicious...

I ate Kani and vegetables a lot. Kani were very delicious! 

 

 

 

 This is the picture of Kani! I and my family became silent when we ate Kani. Kani is great.

 

 

 

 We also ate Kani-Syabu. We made sauce for Kani-Syabu. We use Kanimiso and broth left over after boiling Kani. It is very very delicious!!! We always use this sauce when we eat Kani-Syabu.

 

 

Kani was very delicious. I want to eat it again, but I know I can't eat for the time being...

 

 

 

New Year's Party

 

 It was snowing in second of January.

 

 

 

I went to the new year's party of Earth Science Club. It was the first time I went to the new year's party of Earth Science Club. There were many OBs. I talked with my friends. We ate Chinese foods. I forgot to take pictures. I was crazy about talking!

After the new year's party, I went to the shrine and Karaoke with my friends and seniors. We had a fun time! I was glad to spent a fun time with friends seniors. I will see them in the graduation ceremony because we go to it to celebrate our junior in school. We will take seniors to the restaurant and Karaoke in that day.


After I went back to my house, I ate Osechi1! I also helped to cook them. It was delicious!

New Year's Day

 

 I spent a nice time in the new year's day! I ate delicious food and watched interesting TV program!

 

 

 



 

 I ate Zouni and Nimono for breakfast. I helped my mother to cook Nimono. I don't like Moti, but I like Zouni. Zouni in new year's day was normal. Moti was square.

 

 

My sister wrote new year's card in the new year's day. The left one is drawn by my sister. I drew three sheep and my mother drew two sheep.

 

We ate Sashimi for dinner! I like sashimi very much, and they were so delicious! I like sea urchin eggs.But...

 

I love a sea cucumber(Namako)!!!!! It is very very delicious!!! I eat it only in the new year's day. I want to eat it again...

 

 

 I helped to cook this Nimono. I cut carrots and lotus roots. Decorative cut is difficult, but I was good at decorative cut!

 

 

 

And we watched Kakuduke. It was very interesting!

Baron Gallery

 

I write an article about Baron!! I have written an article about Baron already, so I write an article with many pictures I took in this time!

Baron went to the corner of the cage. Plates are put for feed and water. Baron sometimes enters into the gap between the wall and the plate.

 

 

 

It is the picture which was taken from other side. He is so cute!!

 

 

Then, Baron ride on the plate! He sometimes rides on the plate or move it.

 

 

 

Baron sometimes lies down under the heating system. I think he may feel cold. Baron usually sleeps between the clothe. Sleeping Baron is so cute, but I can't see it because he sleep between the clothe, so this one is valuable picture!

 

 

 

 

 Baron always sleeps but he comes to wake up when feeds are offered. He eats feeds very fast. We can touch Baron when he is eating.

 

 

 

 I like this picture!!! Baron lies at full length. I think it is so cute...

 

  

 

 

 Baron likes eating apples. These pictures are valuable pictures! Taking picture when Baron is eating apples is difficult.

 

 

 

Is a hedgehog cute? I think hedgehogs are so cute, but Baron is the cutest hedgehog!!!

 

The last day of the year

I did a lot of things in the last day of the year. I cleaned my house. I washed a car and around the porch. I used cold water to wash them so my hands became very cold!

For the dinner, we ate Sukiyaki! My family always eat Sukiyaki for The last day of the year's dinner. It was very very delicious!! I like Sukiyaki but I only eat it for the last day of the year...




And then, I and my family watched Gaki-no-Tsukai. It was interesting! I also watched Kouhaku a little. I listened the song of Youkai-watch because my favorite voice actor, Kaji Yuhki acted as the character of Youkai-watch. I was delighted with listening his voice in Kouhaku!





Then, we ate ice cream. I ate Yukimi-daihuku. I like it very much. Before the day changed, we ate Toshikoshi-soba. It was delicious!


I spent a nice time in the last day of the year!

Yakiniku

I went to Yakinikuya with my family in 27 December. I can't eat much beef in Hiroshima because beef is too expensive for me so I was delighted!



I like Yukke, so I ate Yukke! It was very delicious. And salada was also good. I like liver sashimi (Reba-sashi), but now we can't eat it. I'm sad that I can't eat liver sashimi...



The left one is the picture I took, and the right one is the picture my mother took. I think my mother is good at taking pictures. Meats in the right one looks more delicious than the left one.




I ate Rei-men for the last one. It was also delicious!!!


Now, I want to eat Yakiniku and Rei-men... But today's dinner is Kamaage-Udon and Tenpura!

Christmas Eve 2 & Christmas

After going to 138 tower, I ate dinner in my house! My family always eat cheese fondue for Christmas dinner.



It was very delicious!! I ate too much! I got money for Christas present from my parents. When I was a children, I was delighted with getting presents, but now I'm delighted with getting money. I think I get an adult...




And in 25 December, I met two friends of high school days. We congregated in the Station, and then we went to Komeda Coffee. Komeda Coffee is a famous cafe around my hometown. But I've never been to it. We call it Komeda. We ate lunch at Komeda.




One of my friends, S-chan ate breakfast too much, so she didn't want to eat lunch a lot so she asked a burger, but that burger was bigger than we expected. But she ate it! I shared a beef stew and a doria with my friend, A-chan. They were delicious.

We talked about a lot of things. S-chan and A-chan go to the same university, the Nagoya University.




And then, we ate cakes, "Choko-noir". It was offered in the limited time. It was very delicious but it was difficult to eat.


After we talked in Komeda, we went to Karaoke. We spent a fun time!

Christmas Eve

A Happy New Year! I'm sorry for not writing articles. New Year's holiday is very busy... But now, New Year's holiday was finished so I write articles!

First, as you see this article's title, I write about Christmas Eve!





I went to 138 tower! 138 tower is in my home town, Ichinomiya. Its name is derived from "Ichinomiya". Ichi = 1, mi = 3, and ya = 8. I often went there when I was a child, but these days I didn't went. So I went there. 138 tower is 138m and it looks big!

This picture was taken in a car park. I went there by a car! And then, I went into the tower. In the elevator, there were some decorations. In that time, an event, "Over the galaxy" was held.





These pictures was taken in the elevator. I think above two pictures is maybe planets, and the lower one is Andromeda galaxy.



In the observation platform, there are some exhibits about space.




And above picture is illumination seeing from the obserbation platform! I thought it was small when I saw it from the obserbvation platform. But it was very big and beautiful!!!!

 

 They are beautiful, isn't it? I think this year's theme, "Over the galaxy" was very good!!!!! I heard that the theme is changed every year.
