Planets:Mars

 Did you think I would write an entry about Earth? Sorry, I don't write an entry about Earth!:-D I think I don't know about Earth well. Earth is known more things than other planets. I can't cover all the facts!



 Then, I'll write an entry about Mars!! Mars is the forth planet in the solar system and it is known to a red planet. Do you know why is Mars red?





 Do you know a iron oxide? Iron oxides are red. And there are many iron oxides on the surface of Mars! It is the reason why Mars is red.



 Mars has two satellites. Names of them is Phobos and Deimos. They look like potatos!

 The name,"Mars" is derived from the god, Mars. Mars is the god of war. Many ancient people associated Mars(planet) with the fires of war and blood. Satellites are derived from the words,"dismay" and "fear." I think names of this planet and its satellites are like behaving in a way charasteristic of teenagers going through puberty!!


 Do you know "terraforming"? It is the project that people change Mars like Earth to live in. I don't like this project!!! I love crude planets! Please tell me your opinion about terraforming!

Planets:Venus

 Second one is Venus! It is the second planet from the sun. I'll talk about Venus!





 I think it is beautiful. I think many people think so, too. But there is a hell on Venus. There are rains of sulfuric acid. Its temperature of the surface of Venus is 464℃!! It's too hot! We can't live on Venus.

 But Venus and Earth are called twins! Do you know why they are called so? The answer is that diameters and average densities of them is resemble! Venus is also classified in a terrestrial planet.

 Venus is the third brightest star. The Brightest star is the sun and the second one is the Earth's moon. Do you know why Venus is so bright? It is because of clouds! Clouds are composed of sulfuric acid. And they reflect very much.

 Venus has no satellites. But I know it has a Quasi-satellite. Its name is 2002VE68. Do you know "Quasi-satellite"? I think most people don't know this. They are objects which look revolving around planets on planets. Earth is known to having 15 Quasi-satellites.



 I like Venus. I want to investigate about Venus!

Planets:Mercury

 I'm going to introduce all of planets in the solar system! The first one is Mercury.

 Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system. And it is the closest to the sun. It is classified in a terrestrial planet. Terrestrial planet means a planet which has a rocky surface like Earth. It has no known satellites. It has orbital period of about 88 days. Its diameter is 38% of Earth. It is smaller than Ganymede(Jupiter's satellite) and Titan(Saturn's sattelite).

 Its name is derived from the god, Mercurius. Mercurius is a guardian god of  merchants and travelers.




 I think Mercury is similar to the Earth's moon.




 Don't you think so?  The color of Mercury is resemble to the Earth's moon. And the most resemble thins is that there are many craters on Mercury and the Earth's moon.


 There are many mysteries of Mercury. Mercury is close to the sun so it is difficult to investigate about Mercury. I want to know more things about Mercury!!

YAKINIKU-Party

 Yesterday, I went to YAKINIKU-Party held by our seniors of TENMONKEN. I made a pumpkin cake for it!



 First, I heated sugar and water. It became light brown. Then, I stopped heating and set pumpkins. I didn't take any photo of it! It was a difficult process for me. Cutting pumpkins is more difficult than setting pumpkins! Pumpkin is very hard to cut.

 After baking cake, I decorated with almond and melted sugar. I failed at this process! I baked too much...

 I ate this cake before I packed it. It tasted good!





 Then, I packed this cake. I think I could pack well.



 I attended buying vegetables and meats for YAKINIKU-Party. We bought a pumpkin, carrots, elingi mushrooms and so on. Our senior dislikes carrot, but we bought it!

 YAKINIKU-Party was very interesting. But there was a terrible accident! We had a thunderstorm. The weather forecast was off yesterday! I dislike thunderstorms!!!!!!! I couldn't get home!;-D And my friends felt pleasure from my look! I will avenge on them!:-D

TENMONKEN26RPG

Members of TENMONKEN is very busy now because of practicing for the University Festival.But we sometimes make creations of "TENMONKEN 26 RPG." Today, I'll introduce it.

 Members of TENMONKEN26 act as models of TENMONKEN26RPG's characters. But only a hero has no model because anyone suits a hero!



 First companion is a fighter. I can't show you his name because it is derived from model's name.His appanege is earth. His race is ogres and he is macho man. He is mid-forties. But now I can't make this character because I have no idea of him!

 Second companion is a summoner, Betelgeuse. She is an elf and she looks twenty years old, but she is the oldest woman in the party. Her appanege is fire. She has red short hair.

 Third companion is Curley that is derived from curry. He can heal his companions with curry! His appanege is light. He is an Indian cook. He has a secret. He is mid-thirties.

 Fourth companion is Fomalhayato that is derived from model's nickname and Fomalhaut, a star in the constellation Southern Fish. His appanege is wind. He is archer. He is tall and handsome. He wears Kimono and glasses. He is 18~20 years old.

 Fifth companion is Spica. Her model is me!! She only can heal. Her HP is very low. Her appanege is water. She is ten years old. She is the youngest and shortest girl in the party. She has very long hair.

 Sixth companion is a swordman. I can't show you his name because it is derived from model's name. His appanege is dark. He lives in a castle in a desert. He is the strongest man. He lools twenty years old, but anyone knows his real age.


 There are many characters, but I can't introduce all of them!


 Making creations is very interesting! I and members of TENMONKEN will make more creations in a rest today!

My friend's Birthday!

 Yesterday, October 25 was my friend, Bete(it's her nickname)'s birthday! Bete is derived from Betelgeuse, a star in the constellation Orion. She is major in physics and a member of TENMONKEN. She is tall and cool girl!




 I made a cake for her. It was a chocolate cake. I struggled to make the cake. I dissolved butter and chocolates in hot water. It was not difficult. I struggled to beat eggs and sugar thoroughly!! It must become white, but it is a long time in coming!!!;-<

  The one behind it is a mixture of chocolates and butter.


 I asked my mother's opinion on the wire. And she told me the advice to dissolve the mixture of eggs and sugar in hot water. I practiced.





 Then, it became white! But it was hardship for me to stir. I think I should build my muscles! I was very tired but I completed.






 Then, I mixed chocolate-butter and egg-sugar. And I continued to stir. It wasn't so difficult. I think the most difficult process is beating eggs and sugar!







 Finally, I baked the cake! But there is still a hardship. My cookware was not going well! I struggled.
 And I was late for practicing at TENMONKEN because of above trouble...


 And I forgot to take pictures of the finished product!!!!!;-D I used coconuts and almonds for topping. I think it tasted good. My friend was glad! I became happy. And I'm going to make a pumpkin cake today. I'm going to go Yakiniku-kai posted by my senior in TENMONKEN so I want to take the cake.

Dae Jang Geum

 I'm watching "Dae Jang Geum" now. Do you know "Dae Jang Geum"? You may know as "Kyuutei Nyokan Changumu no Tikai". The Englich name is Dae Jang Geum. It means Great Jang Geum.  It is also known "Jewel in the Palace" in western countries. Today, I introduce Dae Jang Guem.





 "Dae Jang Geum" is an Korean movie. This story is set in King Seongjong, King Yeonsan and King Jungjong's reings(1457~1544).

 Jang Geum is a girl who intends to be a top of court ladies in the post of cooking for Kings. She lost her father and mother by her slip of thetongue and schemes in the palace. But there were many hardships. Jang Geum was banished from the palace because of the scheme in the palace. But she decide to come back to the palace by being Uinyeo(it means a woman doctor).

 I like Choi Geum-young! She is a rival of Jang Geum but she is a pathetic woman.


 And when I watch Dae Jang Geum, I become to want cooking! I'm going to cook a roast meat Jeong Mal-geum cooked!

Pluto

 Hi. I think many people know "Pluto". But what things do you know about Pluto? Today, I'll introduce "Pluto"!

 I think you know that Pluto was one of the planet. Do you know what does Pluto become? Pluto is now one of a dwarf planet! Dwarf planet is one of the classification in the solar system. The definition of dwarf planets are as follows:

  1. Revolving abut the sun.
  2. Having spherical shape
  3. Being not large enough to gravitationally clear its orbital region of most or all other celestial bodies.


 Pluto is revolving about sun and having spherical shape, but not large enough to gravitationally its orbital region of most or all other bodies so Pluto isn't a planet but a dwarf planet.

 The member of dwarf planets are as follows: Pluto, Eris, Ceres, Haumea, Makemake.


 Pluto isn't the largest body in dwarf planets. Largest body is Eris. Pluto, Eris, Haumea, Makemake are in the Kuiper Belt. Pluto is composed rocks and ices. Many bodies in the Kuiper Belt are composed rocks and ices.

 Pluto has five moons. They are Charon, Nix, Hydra, Kerberos, Styx. Names of these moons are derived from character's name in Hel.



I like Pluto and Charon. But I like other bodies in the solar system, too! I want to write more entries about the solar system.

Minecraft

 Do you know "Minecraft"? It's a game of computers. I'll introduce "Minecraft".

 Minecraft is a game we can place and break blocks. There are many nocuturnal monsters so people should build their house to protect against them. People can create wonderful and imaginative worlds.  And we can play this game with friends.

 Now, I play this game with my friends. We are building own castles. I build a castle in the snowy area.





 These are pictures of my castle. It's under construction now. Is it beautiful or not beautiful? The blue wall is a castle wall. I still don't build the main castle! ;-> But I'm going to build a big castle! And someday, I want to make a castle town near my castle. I made a station near my castle!

 Then, I'll introduce a great movie!






 This is a movie of Minecraft! Can you believe it is made by many blocks? I like this movie very much! It's wonderful!!! I revere Mr.(Ms.?) Latte who made this movie! I want to make such a wonderful world someday!:->

Baron

 Hi, today I'll introduce my(?) pet Baron!!





 This is Baron! Is he very very cute?:-D He is a hedgehog and my sister has him. I don't know why my sister named him Baron.

 When I came back my home in Aichi, Baron was in my house! My sister started to have Baron in July so I didn't know she has the hedgehog before I came back home! I was very surprised. But I like hedgehog so I became happy! I took many photos of Baron.





 Baron is very timid so I couldn't touch him at first. But I could touch him when he is eating because he is absorbed in eating.




 He is always sleeping in the daytime. Hedgehogs are nocturnal in habit. Hedgehogs are not mouses, they are similar with moles.




 I sometimes get photos of Baron from my mother. I am healed by Baron's photos. He is so cute! I want to have a hedgehog, but I can't have any pets in my apartment!;-< I feel sad...

Gugure! Kokkuri-san

 Hi. Today, I'll introduce "Gugure! Kokkuri-san." It is Japanese comic and it is made an animated version in this season!





 First, do you know "KOKKURI-SAN"? I think many people in Japan know it. KOKKURI-SAN is one of the ritual to summon Kokkuri-san(the ghost of the fox) and ask him some questions. If someone summon Kokkuri-san alone, he or she will be possessed by Kokkuri-san. If you don't know KOKKURI-SAN and want to know more, just Google it!:->

 One day, a little girl, Kohina(she is main character of this comic) summoned  Kokkuri-san alone. And Kokkuri-san came to Kohina's house. Kokkuri-san is a handsome(self-styled) and white-haired man and have ears of fox. Kohina was possessed by Kokkuri-san, but Kohina was a odd girl who is a would-be a doll! Kokkuri-san is bothered about Kohina's eating habbit and decide to care for her.

 And there are many characters who haunt Kohina. For example, Inugami who is the ghost of dog and love Kohina, Shigaraki who is the ghost of raccoon dog. They can change their appearances into cute animals!

Comet Siding Spring

 Do you know "Comet Siding Spring"? Today, I'll introduce about this comet.

 Comet Siding Spring(C/2013 A1) came from Oort Cloud. It was discovered on 3 January 2013. This comet attracted many people because it passed near Mars on October 19.

 It was considered that it would pass at a distance of only 140,000 kilometers from Mars. There is a distance of  380,000 between Earth and Earth's moon so the distance between Siding Spring and Mars is little more than 1/3 the distance between Earth and Moon. It is very close for astronomical objects. It would make the historically close approach to Mars.It Space probes on Mars evaded the onslaught of dusts from Siding Spring.

 Now, I don't have any information about it. I want to know more about Comet Siding Spring! If  I get more information, I will write an entry about Comet Siding Spring again!


 Collision of comets with planets are  common. If you are interested in these affairs, I suggest you to look up about "Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9"! "Mineral Show" in Kyoto

　In this weekend, I went to Kyoto for the mineral show with my friend, Pingu(it's her nickname!) and her two grandaunts.

　I saw many many minerals! 　I wanted to buy many minerals, but they were too expensive so I couldn't buy a lot of them.But I only buy a small mineral! It is Bismuth which knows as "the most beautiful mineral".

　I enjoyed this mineral show and Kyoto.I ate very very delicious dishes.And my friend's grandaunt guide me! She is a tour guide, and she knows a lot of things!

The Lunar Eclipse and The Uranus!

Did you watch the lunar eclipse?
I watched it in the Spain plaza in Hiroshima University.
I used binoculars.
It was very beautiful.

And did you watch the Uranus?
We could watch it near the moon.
I could watch it!

I had a good time yesterday!

About "TENMONKEN"

I'm a member of "TENMONKEN".
TENMONKEN is an informal name.
Official name is "Tenmongaku-kenkyuukai".
It means an astronomy studying association.

And I have news about TENMONKEN.
Today, we are going to hold a watching party for today's lunar eclipse!
It starts around 19:00~19:30.
