Comet Siding Spring

 Do you know "Comet Siding Spring"? Today, I'll introduce about this comet.

 Comet Siding Spring(C/2013 A1) came from Oort Cloud. It was discovered on 3 January 2013. This comet attracted many people because it passed near Mars on October 19.

 It was considered that it would pass at a distance of only 140,000 kilometers from Mars. There is a distance of  380,000 between Earth and Earth's moon so the distance between Siding Spring and Mars is little more than 1/3 the distance between Earth and Moon. It is very close for astronomical objects. It would make the historically close approach to Mars.It Space probes on Mars evaded the onslaught of dusts from Siding Spring.

 Now, I don't have any information about it. I want to know more about Comet Siding Spring! If  I get more information, I will write an entry about Comet Siding Spring again!
